Artwork, materials & care
Common Ground is a beautifully crafted tempered glass cutting board that transforms everyday meal preparation into an artistic experience. Designed to function as both kitchen tool and countertop décor, the durable textured glass surface provides a stable workspace while showcasing gallery-quality artwork. Flowing ribbons of muted color converge toward a single point, creating a composition that feels both calming and dynamic. Whether you're preparing fresh ingredients, serving charcuterie, or displaying it upright as functional art, Common Ground reminds us that the kitchen is where differences dissolve and connection begins.
Softcore Meaning
Every meaningful conversation starts somewhere. Sometimes, it starts around a cutting board.
Symbolism
The flowing bands represent countless journeys, identities, and experiences moving toward a shared center. Rather than competing, every color contributes to a larger composition, proving that individuality becomes even more beautiful when it exists in harmony with others. The golden circle symbolizes warmth, hospitality, and the simple power of gathering. Common Ground celebrates the idea that belonging isn't about becoming the same. It's about creating space where everyone is welcome.
